Dear Families,
I hope you and your families have had a wonderful summer. I wanted to introduce myself.
I graduated in 2002 with my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a minor is Special Education. In 2009, I completed my Master’s Degree in Reading and English as a Second Language. I worked for nine years in the West Allis/West Milwaukee School District. There, I was a first grade teacher for seven years and a Reading Specialist for two years. This is my sixth year teaching first grade in Greendale. I am very excited for another great year in first grade!
I live in Brookfield with my husband (John) and son (Johnny). Johnny will be turning five in November and keeps life fun and exciting at home. We also have 2 goldfish. In my free time, I love to camp, travel, and read books.
Communication is important to me. You will receive a regular classroom newsletter from me in your child’s “BEE Folder” updating you on the latest events in room 113. I also often send reminders via email. In addition to this, information can be found on my class website. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at school.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Eden Steigerwald
